Ghillie's name? Well, I just love it and it suited her. She has been the best hunter in my kennel. She didn't have the best start in life. She was born one of 12 puppies, but at three weeks old she was squashed by her mother. The vet said she 'looked like a cat that had been run over' but he thought he could save her. So we went ahead with the operation and for several weeks she was separated from her siblings. When people visited it was always Ghillie they wanted to take home but due to her poor start we had no idea if she would survive. So.......she stayed. She lives to please and has so much natural instinct and is a keen swimmer. We even had a compliment at one event when the Judge said 'she hunts too fast!' Well, I had to shake his hand, I never ever thought I would hear that said of a Weimaraner!!!
