You know how you call your dogs and you just can't quickly bring its name to mind? Well, that's how Hey's name came to be.  I promised myself I would have a dog that when I called it I just had to say 'hey dog come here'! A most biddable, good- tempered dog. A strong hunter and stylish reliable pointer. He took to water like a duck.  These days we mainly use him in the beating line on a local shoot and for dogging in. he loves a hug!
